Ilias Mohammed has been a Senior Advisor at ROOTS Advisory since 2023.
He brings over 20 years of management and business development experience with a strong track record in the pharmaceutical industry across European markets.
He has successfully executed multiple licensing deals and established strategic alliances with both large and mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, while also managing several M&A transactions.

Ilias began his career as a Senior Consultant at Cerner Corporation in Frankfurt. He has since held management positions at leading pharmaceutical companies, including Bayer, BioNTech, ZS Associates, and Wörwag Pharma, with a focus on business development and corporate strategy. He is also the co-founder of the pharmaceutical companies Alfa Pharma (2017) and Apollo Pharma (2023).
Ilias holds a Master of Science in Information and Communication from the University of Duisburg-Essen and an Executive MBA in General Management from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and the Rotman School of Management (Canada).
