Ali Taşbaşı is the founding partner and managing director of ROOTS Advisory.
With over 25 years' experience in corporate finance advisory, he has supported numerous transactions for family-owned businesses, financial investors, and international corporations, with a particular focus on cross-border deals.
His industry expertise spans the services, pharmaceuticals, industrial and consumer goods, telecommunications, financial services and the fashion sector.
Prior to establishing ROOTS Advisory, he served as a board member of a medium-sized corporate finance firm in Germany and as managing partner of the M&A boutique M&A International GmbH. From August 2016 to December 2017, he was a member of the supervisory board of a banking institution in Frankfurt am Main.
He studied political science with a focus on economics and international relations, earning a Diploma in Political Science from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
He is the author of numerous publications and regular speaker at conferences and events. He also serves as a board member of the non-profit Sir Peter Ustinov Foundation in Frankfurt am Main.
